Spring Tavaci Concert

It is time again for another Tavaci concert. I always love watching my girls perform. They always do a fantastic job. This year Alexis had a solo and Megan had a speaking part. They both did great. Alexis got to sing The sun will come out tomorrow from Annie. It was so cute. They dads had a part in the Annie medley which Alexis was so excited about. What a cute concert. Ms. Betsy and Ms. Esther did a wonderful job as usual.

Megan's end of the year 3rd grade luau

Today was Megan's end of the year party. For third grade they have a laua for all the third grade classes. Megan had a great time and I was assigned to help with the water relay game. For some reason it was freezing today so the kids hands were like ice but it didn't stop any of them from playing. Megan had a great time with her good friend Makenzie Pitts. Megan had a great teacher this year, Ms. Reeves(former teacher of the year). She had a great year.

Alexis end of the year Kindergarten program & party

I can't believe my baby is finished with Kindergarten. She has had a great year and we couldn't have asked for better teachers. She had Ms. Pruehs (teacher of the year this year) and Ms. Williams. They were both so great and fit perfectly with Alexis. Alexis made many new friends this year. Pictured here is her with Amiela, Avery, and Kayleigh. They had a little singing program and then we went back to the classroom for some snacks with the kids.

It's FOOTBALL time again!!!

This year Andy and I have been having a regular date night each month and switching babysitting with Justin and Kristina so they can do the same. It was our week to go out and well our date kind of turned into me watching from the side lines. Andy was given the opportunity to do a preseason game at Norcross High School. Since he had knee surgery last year and missed out I figured this would be a great test to see how his knee would do. So I came along and got to watch him do what he loves. I always enjoy watching him have so much fun. It was a really long night and we even got rained on but it was still fun. For all you Atlanta Braves fans check out the picture in the middle and you will see A former Brave, Brian Jordan. His son plays at Norcross high. Andy was able to talk with him which is pretty cool. We had some taco bell on the way home to finish out the night.

Megan and Alexis Field Day!!

Megan and Alexis had field day at their school. It was pretty fun. I was able to help with Alexis by working the Rock climbing wall. I didn't realize that I could have just went and walked around with her. It was fun to see all the kids playing. When it was Megan's day I decided not to help out and I got to just walk around with Meg the whole time. They both had a great time with their friends.

Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day. It started off with Breakfast in bed which was so yummy. Meg was up early to help daddy cook. After Breakfast I was showered with wonderful art projects and gifts. I always love getting the handmade projects that my girls make in school. I got some beautiful flowers, a new watch, some perfume and some new shoes. I have the best family in the world. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and such great kids. We had a great relaxing day together. I was able to go to Relief Society while the men taught the primary classes. After church we went and ate a quiet dinner with my parents.

Celebrating Mother's Day

We decided to celebrate Mother's Day on Saturday so that we could have more time together as a family. The men planned the day for us. We started out by going to Harbins Park and having a cook out. The mothers were treated to some yummy steaks while the men and kids had hotdogs and hamburgers. There was a huge playground there and the kids and some adults had fun playing. Uncle Justin helped the kids fly kites which was fun too.

Next we went to Cooper Elementary to play some softball. We had a really fun time. All the kids enjoyed playing. This brought back so many memories of my childhood because softball was a huge part of our life growing up. It was a lot of fun.

After Softball we went back to mom and dad's to have some cake and to give mom her gifts. I decided to let Drake try some too. He defiantly liked it. I had some fun with mom's hat as well. We had such a great day. I don't think it could have been any better.

Alexis Queen Day

Alexis class has been having an ABC countdown to the end of the school year and today was Queen Day. She has been waiting and waiting for this day to come. At school all the boys had to do everything for the girls. She went all out on her outfit and makeup. She thought she was pretty much the best queen out there. When she got to school her teacher, Mrs. Pruehs, took her around to the other Kindergarten teachers to show her off, which made her feel pretty special. I took this picture before she put her dangling earrings and lipstick on but she still looked very cute.
