Happy Halloween!!

We found out that our local grocery store Publix has Halloween activities for the kids to do before they go out trick or treating. So we decided to check it out today. The girls had a fun time. The got to decorate a cookie and a pumpkin and got some good treats. They also had their faces painted. After that we ran to walmart to get a gift for a friend. As we were coming into Wal-mart there were two police men escorting a man to the security room. As they got to the door the police took their eyes off the man to open the door and the man bolted toward the exit. He only made it about two feet before the police were tackling him to the ground. We were standing about 10 feet from this so naturally I freaked out and grabbed Megan and ran into the store. I assumed that Andy would grab Alexis and follow me but as I turned around Andy was still standing at the entranced and poor Lexi was left to run herself. Me and the girls were dressed as doctors and Andy was dressed as the patient so he had his crutches with him. So as I turn to look back, there Andy stood with his crutch in the air as if he was going to beat the man. Pretty much I yelled at him for not grabbing Alexis and following me as I ran through Wal-mart. I guess that was the mother instinct in me. I had no idea if this crazy guy was armed or what he could be capable of, and I wasn't about to stand around and find out. Of course Andy was laughing at me for running. My girls were a little afraid after that. It was a little scary to see a man tackled and thrown to the floor right in front of you. Anyway a funny start to our night.

We went to Justin and Kristina's neighborhood to go Trick Or Treating. Our neighbors Cherie & Sierra Moore met us there. We had a fun time and the girls got plenty of candy to last them a while. The weather was fairly nice and not to cold. It was about 45 degrees when we finished. We got several comments on our costumes. At trunk or treat on Thursday we were vampires and lex was Rainbow Brite but we decided to go as doctors and a patient tonight. We had a very fun night.

Alexis' Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today Alexis kindergarten class went to the pumpkin patch for a field trip. Andy was able to go with her. She had a great time playing with her friends and was able to learn how pumpkins are grown. There was a petting zoo, and she also got to go on a hay ride. Alexis' friend Caroline from church is in the class beside her's and was there too. Alexis and Daddy got to get their own little pumpkins. Andy gave his to Megan which made her very happy. It was a fun day for Alexis and Daddy.

Halloween Party @ Cersey's

Saturday 10/25/08

We had our first annual Halloween Party at Grandma Cersey's house. There were so many activities that we didn't get home till midnight. It was a 12 hour event!! Grandma rented a big inflatable jumper for the kids but I think some of the adults espically grandma had the most fun. She also had a spooky room for the kids to go through. It was all decked out with black lights and scarry stuff. We had some great food to eat as always. There were many crafts to do including halloween gingerbread houses. We had a doughnut eating contest and played limbo. We had so much fun nobody wanted to go home. My mom is the greatest. Below I have posted a few pictures and a video of the doughnut comtest. What a fun day we had. The girls have the best Grandma and Grandpa ever.

HSM3 - The Senior Year

Today is the day that the girls have been waiting for. The girls were checked out of school early so that they could be one of the first people to go see the newly released HSM3 "Senior Year." They had so much fun and we all had a great time. For all those who are going to see it, you are going to love it. Of all three of the HSM's it was a unanimous decision amongst our family that HSM3 was the best one that they did. Alexis at one point even started to cry because she was sad that it was all coming to an end. We have a long road ahead if she is crying about graduation already. GO WILDCATS!!!!!
