Happy Halloween!!

We found out that our local grocery store Publix has Halloween activities for the kids to do before they go out trick or treating. So we decided to check it out today. The girls had a fun time. The got to decorate a cookie and a pumpkin and got some good treats. They also had their faces painted. After that we ran to walmart to get a gift for a friend. As we were coming into Wal-mart there were two police men escorting a man to the security room. As they got to the door the police took their eyes off the man to open the door and the man bolted toward the exit. He only made it about two feet before the police were tackling him to the ground. We were standing about 10 feet from this so naturally I freaked out and grabbed Megan and ran into the store. I assumed that Andy would grab Alexis and follow me but as I turned around Andy was still standing at the entranced and poor Lexi was left to run herself. Me and the girls were dressed as doctors and Andy was dressed as the patient so he had his crutches with him. So as I turn to look back, there Andy stood with his crutch in the air as if he was going to beat the man. Pretty much I yelled at him for not grabbing Alexis and following me as I ran through Wal-mart. I guess that was the mother instinct in me. I had no idea if this crazy guy was armed or what he could be capable of, and I wasn't about to stand around and find out. Of course Andy was laughing at me for running. My girls were a little afraid after that. It was a little scary to see a man tackled and thrown to the floor right in front of you. Anyway a funny start to our night.

We went to Justin and Kristina's neighborhood to go Trick Or Treating. Our neighbors Cherie & Sierra Moore met us there. We had a fun time and the girls got plenty of candy to last them a while. The weather was fairly nice and not to cold. It was about 45 degrees when we finished. We got several comments on our costumes. At trunk or treat on Thursday we were vampires and lex was Rainbow Brite but we decided to go as doctors and a patient tonight. We had a very fun night.

You guys have had so much to do at Halloween and I"m way impressed at all you costumes - especially the vampires, I didn't even recognize you. Again, I"m so jealous you live so close to family, you get to do so much together.

WOW what an adventure at Walmart. I love your costumes, you are a girl after my heart with the whole theme thing going on with the family. BTW I am glad you picked Andy as the patient everybody knows boys are big pasnies when it comes to medical anything, whip out the shots and the boys faint, thats why the ladies have the babies. ;)
