So tonight we thought we were supposed to have a double header because our last 2 games got rained out. Well we failed to notice they switched our game from what they said would be today to next Tuesday. So our entire team showed up all ready to play and the fields were empty. We decided to have some fun anyway and do some racing.
In order from left to right Jessica, Kristina, Brindi, & Nicole. Nicole won the girls race with Kristina coming in 2nd, Jessica a close 3rd and Brindi right behind in 4th. We all knew that Nicole (pregnant) would win. She is lightning fast.
The next race was AWESOME...
In order from left to right Justin, Ryan, Jonny. This was a close race as you can see up until Justin takes a tumble, so so funny. Let me add that they were racing in their socks! Jonny takes a nice slide across the finish line. We were all laughing so hard. Brindi got so excited that she scared baby Drake!
Even though we didn't get to play the Thundercats still had a little fun.

Thundercats
Kristina and Justin and some of our other friends started playing in a coed softball league in the spring and asked us to play. Our girls had Tavaci on the same night as the games so we were unable to play. Some of the team members were unable to keep playing for the summer season so Andy and I joined the team. Our team consists of 12 players...
Justin & Kristina
Ryan & Brindi
Andy & Jessica
Scott & Esther
Jonny & Nicole
Chris & carey
We have had a great season so far. Andy usually plays 1st when he plays and I play 2nd. It is a lot of fun to be able to play with all of our friends. Our girls our some of our biggest fans.

DREAM COME TRUE....BRISTOL
Gentleman Start Your Engines. It has been a dream for my wife to go to a Sprint Cup Nascar race at Bristol for about 8 years now. Well it FINALLY happend! Saturday August 22, 2009 we made our way to the track. After a long 4 1/2 hour drive that took about 6 hours we made it to our hotel. A quick stop to refresh oursleves and we headed a little further North to the track. Upon our arrival we walked about a mile and a half to get to the track from where we parked. Over the hills and through the "rednecks" we finally made it to the haulers with the apparel of our favorite drivers, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards. After a shared basket of chicken fingers and fries (I was already broke from the tickets) we headed to our seats. The driver introductions were cool in that they each came out being introduced to their favorite song of choice. A special tribute was given to Mark Martin, the iron man of Nascar, as he was racing in his 1000th race. He was presented with a huge trophy that was almost as big as he was (it was about 5ft tall which is about as tall as he stands). Then it was time to particpate in a Guiness Book of World Records event. We had the most people to sing karoake at the same time and had someone for GBOWR on site to verify it. We sang "Friends in Low People" by Garth Brooks. It was now time for the most famous words in motor sports, "Gentleman, Start Your Engines." 42 cars going around the 1/2 mile track brought much joy and excitment. It is like sitting and watching a race inside a football stadium with over 160,000 other people. The only thing that could have been better was if Biffle or Edwards could have won. Biffle did lead the first 76 laps and finished the race in 4th so it turned out to be a good day. Kyle Bush pulled off the win tonight and did a nice burn out right in front of us. We then left the track and got back to our hotel and went to bed about 2:30 AM. What a great weekend. Thanks mom and dad Cersey for coming with us. We hope you ejoyed it as much as we did.

Last day of summer...Water Slide at Baugh's
Today was the last day of summer for the girls before school starts back. The Baugh's decided to have a water slide party. The kids all love this so much. Jenn and Albert were gone for a work meeting so we had their 3 kids with us. The party started at 3:30 and we never left there till after 8:00. This kids had a great time, but as you can see from the pictures I'm pretty sure the adults had more fun then them. I was unable to play this year since I just had surgery on Wednesday but it was still really fun to watch.

Weekend at the Beach!!
DAY 1 July 2nd
My parents decided they wanted to take the family to the beach for the 4th of July Weekend. It ended up that only us and the Cano's could make it. They rented a nice house on Ponte Vedra Beach. It had a wonderful view with a pool right out the back door. We were staying on a private beach so no one to bother us. It was so Awesome. My parents and us left on Wednesday July 1st and drove half way. We stayed in a hotel and got up the next morning and went the rest of the way. Of course we had to stop for a Dairy Queen. We can't go to Florida with out making that stop. I was completely sick on this trip, due to being pregnant. It was not a very fun drive. Lots of throwing up. Once we got to the house about noon, We had the the whole day to play. We took the girls down to the beach, which was just a few hundred feet out the back door. We spent a few hours there and then came back to the house and went swimming. The pool was like taking a bath it was so warm. We had some dinner and then we went back down to the beach to take some family pictures. Jenn and Albert didn't get in till about 8:00 that night.

DAY 2 July 3rd
We woke up this morning at about 6:30 and went down with the kids to the beach to see the sun rise. It was so beautiful. The kids were so excited to look for shells. We walked down the beach and they all collected a bucket full of shells.
After Breakfast we headed down to the beach for the day. We spent most of the day at the Beach and a little while in the pool. The kids and adults had a great time boogie boarding. Albert and Ethan with a little help from all the girls built a huge pyramid. We also saw some dolphins. Alexis finished off the day with a yummy ice cream as you Can see in the pictures.
DAY 3 July 4th
More fun at the beach!!
Down to the beach for a firework show that lasted forever!!. We were able to just sit on the beach outside the house and watch fireworks on every side of us. It didn't matter where you looked you could see fireworks. We had a few crazy moments with the drunk people in the house beside us. They set the grass on fire a few time and dad had to go over a yell at them. It appeared that they threw a firework right at him but I can't confirm that. Alexis fell asleep and then woke up to the fire and Emily was really scared which scared Alexis too so Jenn took them inside and put them to sleep. The older kids did some sparklers and set off fireworks with Albert off the pyramid they built yesterday. It was a great night.
Day 4
we left today at about 11:30. The drive home took us hours on end. We got home around 9:30 or something like that. There was a big rain storm which made us sit in traffic for hours. We stopped for dinner at Golden Corrall. We have a great weekend with the family. Thanks mom and dad for taking care of us.
